I have been taking pictures ever since I stood downstream from both cataracts of Niagara Falls
and snapped my first photo with a little Kodak camera that cost about fourteen dollars and produced three inch square pictures.
It was November of 1974.

I'm sure that camera and that film format are long since obsolete, but that day a passion was born in me.
I love to capture the world around me on film. I never venture far from home without at least one camera.
Luckily for my friends and family, my interests run more to scenery, aircraft and cultural images,
although I have been honored to capture a number of weddings on film.

I realize that beauty is in the eye of the beholder and what I see as a worthy photographic subject may bore someone else to tears.
Be that as it may, I am finally getting some of my favorite shots on these pages for one and all to view.
I have successfully melded my photography hobby with my little webpage-building obsession.
